At Kid Ventures, we rock our socks. Kids come up to the front desk every day, wanting to show off their socks to the first KV Crew member they see. There are pink and frilly socks, socks with stripes and polka-dots, socks covered with kids’ favorite critters, and, of course, several pairs of mismatched socks. Socks are important here where kids are playing so closely together—shoes could result in trampled fingers and toes, but bare feet wouldn’t be sanitary. Playing in socks can be tricky and a little slippery at times, so children, parents, and staff all need to be sure to use our walking feet so we can stay safe. So next time you come to Kid Ventures, remember to rock your crazy, colorful, awesome socks!
